What is the difference between King and California King?
A California king is 4 inches narrower and 4 inches longer than a standard king also referred to as an Eastern king.
Is everything Seaboard Bedding and Furniture Offered on the website?
We are often times asked this question. The simple answer is no. Seaboard Bedding and Furniture offers much more that what is shown on the website. Currently we have access to upwards of 20,000 products from nearly 20 manufacturers. Each week - if not day - new items are added to the website, and some items are removed. The reason for this is that there is a constant flux with the manufacturers as to their product lines. New products are constantly coming available and some items are being discontinued.
Is there a way to touch up furniture?
Touch up crayons and markers are available at local hardware and home improvement stores in a variety of color packs. These types of crayons and markers that are made especially for furniture work well in touching up most flaws.
How can I get assembly instructions for Ashley Furniture?
If the item(s) you purchased require assembly, detailed instructions should have been included in the carton. If they were missing or you have misplaced them, please submit the following information: a copy of your original sales receipt, your name, fax number or mailing address and the model number(s) you need to assemble. Can I get a catalog mailed to me?
Unfortunately, we do not have catalogs or brochures that can be sent directly to consumers. The manufacturer does not supply us with catalogs for customer distribution, we do however have catalogs that are available to view in the store and online. View Catalogs Here
What voids a Mattress Warranty?
The stipulations put out by mattress manufacturers are as follows
- Original law tag must be affixed to mattress. The law tag which reads do not remove under penalty of law must be readable as it contains the model and serial number used for a warranty claim.
- The mattress must be free of all stains. Even the smallest stain will void a warranty. This applies to all stains in any form.
- Mattress must be free of tears, rips, scuffs, burns, and snags. If the mattress was damaged in a move from house to house unrelated to delivery of new mattress the warranty will be voided.
- The mattress must not be damaged due to transport. This applies to damages to the spring system that occurs from tying down a mattress on a vehicle roof. Often times the mattress can be tied down so tight, or bent (taco like) during transport that the internal spring unit is now damaged. The consumer damage will negate any other claim against the warranty.
- Consumer must maintain original copy of sales invoice in order to file a warranty claim.
Are tie down straps or rope provided for furniture and mattress pickups?
We do not provide tie down straps, rope or anything of that nature for use in securing furniture or mattresses at pickup. The customer is responsible for all pick materials mentioned above including moving blankets. Due to insurance liability we cannot offer things like rope or tie down straps. Furthermore, we can not physically secure the merchandise to your vehicle for the very same reasons. Those that choose to use the pick-up method, and opt out of delivery are responsible securing the merchandise. Our warehouse staff can load the product but nothing further due to liability issues.
When can I pick up my furniture or mattress?"
Furniture and Mattress pickups are limited to the following time frames; 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Pickups after 4:00 pm are not available as the product warehouse is closed and unmanned after 4:00 pm.
Can I take a mattress home and try it out?
We are sorry but we cannot offer a sleep test at this time. Our mattresses and furniture are priced at very low margins and all sales are final. Once a mattress is slept on or taken out of the plastic it ships in the item is now considered used and not available to resell as new. Please spend as much time as you like in testing floor model mattresses out in our showroom. Once the mattress is purchased and picked up or delivered the item cannot be returned.
Why are there not as many 2 sided mattresses today?
There still are quite a few double sided mattresses available. We do not offer a wide selection of double sided mattresses due to costs and the price point at which our customers wish to be for a new mattress. The double sided mattresses are more expensive and the mattress is essentially being built in a mirror image of itself from the spring unit on both sides. Many of today's mattresses (normally the thicker models) are built with the spring as the foundation, with layer upon layer of different foams until the desired feel effect is achieved. This mattresses do take into consideration that they will not be flipped when in the home. Recommendation is to turn you mattress every 3 months to distribute wear patterns.
How do I find out if my order has arrived?

With email we can provide you with the best information that is up to date with the manufacturer, shipping or warehouse stock.
How long does it take to get furniture and mattresses?
This is the most often asked question in the furniture world and there is no simple answer. Each manufacturer has a different approach to the distribution of its products. Item that we keep in stock (best sellers and close outs) are ready in 24 hours (excluding Sundays) if not same day. Not all furniture is stocked to sell be our manufacturers. Many build to order. Depending on the manufacturer the order - build - ship process can take as little as 1 week up to 12 weeks. For this reason, Seaboard Bedding and Furniture keeps a high level of stock on hand to eliminate delay. When it comes to special orders we are limited to the process of that particular manufacturer.
What types of fabrics do you offer on sofa sets?
There are many types of sofa set covers. You can find leather like covers, linen, microfiber, padded microfiber, chenilles, and a host of polyester performance based fabrics on the sofa sets and sectionals we carry.
How do I clean my Ashley upholstry?
Ashley upholstery products have a tag located under one of the seat cushions or under the unit itself. The tag shows a universal cleaning code. Below you will find the codes and cleaning recommendations.

DC - Dry Clean Only.
E - Use the Millennium Leather Care Kit
N - Use the Millennium Leather Care Kit
N Fbr - Natural Fiber Rugs - Blot spills up immediately with a clean white cloth or plain paper towel. Dab at spots with a mild solution of one teaspoon of mild detergent with one teaspoon of white vinegar in a quart of warm water. Do not saturate.
NA - Not Applicable to a Cleaning Code
S - Clean only with dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate. Do not use water. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.
SW - Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate with liquid. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.
W - Clean only with water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Do not over wet. Do not use solvents to spot clean. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and laundered.
WASH - Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry at low setting or line dry. Wool Tufted Wool Rugs - Blot spills up immediately with a clean white cloth or plain paper towel. There are no cleaning solutions listed.
WS - Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate with liquid. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.
X - Do not clean with either water- or solvent-based cleaner. Use vacuuming or light brushing only
